2014 Range Rover Sport teased

Land Rover officially confirmed debut of the new Range Rover Sport will debut at the New York Auto Show.

Land Rover promises that the next-gen Sport will be the fastest, most responsive and showcases the best of British design, engineering and technological innovation.

We expect the car's styling to bridge the gap between the Evoque and the Range Rover, it is expected to be a good 300kg lighter than the outgoing Sport.

Details are still scarce, but rumors indicate that it will be powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel that develops 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft. of torque.

Land Rover's new Sport will also be offered with a hybrid drivetrain and prices are expected to start at around £55,000.
