SEMA Auto Show
The SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas has become a place to see some of the most outrageous concept, can say is crap car exhibition. Today, Chevrolet has lifted the veil off of the production-bound Sonic Dusk, giving buyers a choice for a more sophisticated vehicle in a small size.
The 2013 Chevy Sonic Dusk will come exclusively in a Ashen Grey hue, a body kit, an 18-inch aluminum wheels finished in Pearl Nickel, fog lamps and rear license plate trim also have a matte appearance.
Inside, black leather seats feature Mojave tan inserts that match the seat stitching, a motif that is continued on the dash and on the door panels and MyLink infotainment system comes standard.
“The reaction to the Sonic Dusk concept last year was overwhelmingly positive and proved customers are interested in a more-refined subcompact. We're moving quickly to bring Sonic Dusk to Chevrolet showrooms," said the automaker in a statement.
Like the 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS (price at $20,995), the 2013 Chevy Sonic Dusk is powered by the same turbocharged 1.4-liter Ecotec four-banger that makes 138 HP and 148 lb-ft, with the choice of either six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
