The latest generation of the potent 2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is scheduled to reach the UK and German market in January. It is scheduled to greet the public for the first time at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.

To separate it aesthetically, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S has unique 21-inch alloy wheels, smoked headlights, rectangular quad exhaust tips and gloss black accents on the lower part of the mirrors.

The interior modifications include new carbon fiber trim decors for the dashboard, Alcantara headliner and a new two-tone leather upholstery with contrasting stitching.

Under the hood is the same 4.8-liter V8 that is found under the hood of the less expensive Cayenne Turbo. Thanks to these changes, the 2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S has now been upgraded with an addition 50-hp (37 kW), increasing the total output to an impressive 542hp (550PS) and peak torque to 750Nm (553 lb-ft).

As a result of these upgrades, allowing the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S completes the standard 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint 0.2 seconds quicker than before and reach a top speed of 175 mph. The German automaker says in spite of the increase in power but doesn't affect the V8's fuel economy. The Cayenne Turbo S is capable of returning 11.5lt/100km (20.5 mpg US or 24.6 mpg UK), with CO2 emissions standing at 270 g/km.

The 2013 Cayenne Turbo S is equipped with all of Porsche dynamic performance techs, including Porsche's Active Suspension Management (PASM); Sport Chrono package; air suspension; Dynamic Chassis Control and Porsche's Torque Vectoring Plus system.

The 2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S will go on sale next spring with starts at $146,000 (not including a $975 destination charge).
