Toyota has announced plans to introduce three customized Avalons at the 2012 SEMA Auto Show could serve as inspiration. Interestingly, one of the 2013 Toyota Avalon tuned version was also developed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
The first model is the 2013 Toyota Avalon TRD Edition developed by the Toyota Racing Development (TRD). Using the 3.5-liter V6 gasoline-powered Avalon, but it gets a nice boost courtesy of a TRD supercharger system. A new suspension lowers ride height by an inch, 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and stiffer rear subframe bushings. The car is finished in a burgundy shade and features tinted taillights with clear lenses, a color-keyed grille and dual exhaust with polished mufflers.
The second vehicle, dubbed the 2013 Toyota Avalon HV Edition uses much of the same equipment from TRD as the previously mentioned car. Avalon HV also gets the same 19-inch rims in 225/40R19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (with a different rim design) and upgraded brake system. The exterior of the car sports a bright white primary and electric blue accent colors, a color-keyed custom grille, hybrid-blue headlights.
Finally, the DUB Magazine Avalon has a Brilliant Black exterior with a custom body kit, big 22-inch TIS wheels with a matte black finish wrapped in ultra-low-profile Pirelli tires, lowered suspension and a custom mesh grille with a chrome surround up front. The interior gets suede accents on the console, door panels and headliner. Other modifications include a higher-end audio system from JBL with three subwoofers in the trunk.
