Honda has revealed a design sketch with a new Civic Wagon Concept at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show.
The Wagon concept is said to “strongly hint at the design direction of the final production version” of a long-awaited Honda Civic estate.
Based on the sub-compact Fit platform, the new Honda Civic Wagon is likely to retain the hidden rear door handle of the hatchback, a sloping roofline with integrated rear spoiler along with a large LED tail-light assembly.
It will feature the hatchback's range of petrol and diesel engines, including the recently launched 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel. A higher power 2.2-litre diesel, and 1.4 and 1.8-litre petrols will also be offered.
The latest iteration of the Honda NSX concept and the new Honda CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC will be available in Europe in fall of 2013.
