2013 Renault Fluence

Surfacing for the first time at this year's Istanbul Motor Show is the 2013 Renault Fluence facelift, it will launch the car in 55 key international markets by the end of 2013.

On the outside the updated Renault Fluence adapts the brand's new styling identity with the soft-V shaped black grille, redesigned LED daytimers, which also give the car a “dynamic” roof.

“The changes featured on New Renault Fluence are perfectly in phase with the needs of our key international markets, like Turkey and Russia”, says the Renault Fluence project marketing manager, Hyun-Young Kwak.

Interior changes are limited but is as roomy as ever. The 2013 Renault Fluence comes with a host of driver aids like the hands free phone controls, a passive entry system, automatic parking brake, Bluetooth/USB connectivity, audio system and the Renault R-Link infotainment system.

Two engines are new to the powerplant menu, the first is a new 1.6 liter 16-valve petrol engine that is connected to an X-Tronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). Renault says significant reduction in fuel consumption to 6.4 liters/100km, while CO2 emissions of 149g/km.

In addition, the diesel range also includes the 1.6-liter dCi 130, which is burning 4.6 L/100km (51.1 mpg US / 61.4 mpg UK) and it's emitting 119 g/km of CO2.
