The Maserati Grancabrio MC a more powerful and sportier version has made its first public appearance at the Paris Auto Show today. The Maserati says Grancabrio MC was inspired by the "considerable success of the GranTurismo MC Stradale".
The 2013 Maserati Grancabrio MC also wears a unique body kit, includes a new front bumper, sport two air outlets for cooling the brakes, a different fascia installed up front, headlamps with LED daytime running lights, 20-inch alloy wheels in glossy Titanio or matt Graphite and a large spoiler that incorporates the third brake light.
Inside, the Maserati Grancabrio come with seating for four and an extra 20mm legroom for the passengers sitting in the back. Other features include a flat-bottom steering wheel; carbon fiber trim décor; Trofeo-design paddles and aluminum pedal unit.
Under the hood, the Maserati GranCabrio MC utilizes the same 4.7-litre V8 engine that produces 460 HP (338 kW) and a peak torque of 383 lb-ft (520 Nm) available at 4,750 rpm. Can a 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) sprint time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 289km/h (180mph).
The car will be sold in the US with expected price starts at £103,875 and it will arrive first in UK showrooms early in 2013.
