The 2013 Skoda Rapid has made its debut today at the 2012 Paris Auto Show, with a starting price of 12,900 pounds. The Skoda Rapid will be offered in three trim levels (S, SE and Elegance) and will start hitting European showrooms from the end of October this year.
“The SKODA Rapid is SKODA's new class and it has a central importance for our 2018 growth strategy. We think that in the years ahead, the Rapid will become our largest volume model after the Octavia.” says Vahland.
All the 2013 Skoda Rapid models come with daytime running lights; electric front windows; curtain airbags; remote central locking and height-adjustable driver's seat. Inside, Skoda Rapid will be available with rubbish bins in the doors, maxi-dot trip computer, a five-inch touch-screen navigation unit with Bluetooth, body-colored door mirrors, MP3-compatible CD player, cruise control and electronic differential lock.
The 2013 Skoda Rapid is powered by a 1.2-liter engine with 75 HP (55 kW) and a 104bhp (77 kW) 1.6-litre diesel.
