A warmed-up version of the 2013 Dodge Dart GT has made its debut at the Detroit auto show today, a rebadge that also brings with it a lower-than-expected price tag.
It comes with the same 2.4-liter engine making 184 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque, and customers still have the choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
The car's suspension has been upgraded, with “frequency sensing” dampers and stiffer spring rates, 18-inch aluminum wheels, dual exhaust tips, black projector headlamp bezels and certain styling features such as the sports front grille with black accents.
On the technology front, the 2013 Dodge Dart GT will come standard with an 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen infotainment system; ParkView rear backup camera and a 7.0-inch TFT display.
Pricing is set at $20,995 (which does not include a $795 destination charge), the car will go on sale in the U.S. in the second quarter of the year.
