Toyota Motorsport GmbH has released a few teaser photos with the Lexus LS-based TX-650 ahead of the model’s public debut at the 2012 Essen Motor Show.
According to the Japanese based automaker, TMG has confirmed the TX-650 prototype is based on the 2013 Lexus LS.
The car will feature a carbon fiber roof, several carbon fiber aero parts, widened fenders, carbon ceramic brakes and BBS alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The Lexus LS-based TX-650 will be powered by a bespoke twin-turbo V8 5.0-liter engine, which will produce a total output of more than 600 HP (447 kW), will be enough for a top speed of about 200 mph (322 km/h).
