Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio teased with F1-inspired

 

As expected, the 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth Cabriolet will be making its North American under the lights of the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.

Scuderia Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa put the new Fiat 500 Abarth Cabriolet to the test in Austin, Texas in anticipation of its North American debut at the 2012 L.A. Auto Show.

In this video you see the convertible features an aggressive body kit with new bumpers, unique wheels, an aggressive exhaust and revised side skirts.

There's a lot to love about the Fiat 500 Abarth - like the coupe , the convertible will be powered by a 1.4-liter, turbocharged engine that produces 160 bhp (119 kW) and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) of torque.
