Acura NSX

The latest report says that the production version of the Acura NSX supercar will be unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The news comes courtesy of a Honda speaking at the Sao Paulo Auto Show.

There aren't any official details regarding the powertrain, but Acura NSX will come with a hybrid drivetrain, a V6 3.5-liter gasoline engine producing a total of 400bhp. A dual-clutch transmission will send power to the rear wheels, enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in less than 5 seconds.

Honda assure us that production was still a long way off on the vehicle, when it goes on sale in the UK later in 2013. The Acura NSX will be developed by an engineering team led by Honda R&D Americas, Inc., and built in the United States at a factory located in central Ohio.
