The new 2013 Toyota ProAce will expand presence in European LCV markets, that will be built by PSA Peugeot Citroën in the north of France. The Toyota ProAce will go on sale through the European Toyota retailer network during 1st quarter of 2013 with first deliveries to customers during the second quarter of the year.
The 2013 Toyota ProAce will feature bespoke design details to the front grille and two sliding side doors can be specified. It will be available in two lengths and heights, giving load capacities of 5m3, 6m3 or 7m3, giving it a cargo capacity of either 176, 211 or 247 cubic feet. This large, versatile space is complemented by a payload of up to 1200kg and the 2013 Toyota ProAce will be able to tow up to two tonnes.
The driver's seat is set high with a raised driver position and large windscreen delivering an MPV-like experience. The 2013 Toyota ProAce can also be specified as glass van or crew cab, a panel van, so meeting a wide range of business transport needs.
Toyota ProAce buyers will be asked to choose between three four-cylinder turbodiesel engines. The 1.6-litre engine that produces 90 horsepower and 180Nm of torque, the second is a 2.0-liter that is rated at 128 horsepower and peak torque figures of 320 and 340Nm respectively. The 1.6-liter come with a five-speed manual transmission while the 2.0-liters come standard with a six-speed manual unit.
The 2013 Toyota ProAce is highly specified for convenience, with central door locking with remote control; a manual air conditioning system; electrically-operated; audio system with Bluetooth; cruise control; heated door mirrors and adjustable steering position.
Other safety features include Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), Anti-lock braking (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, security in the most challenging driving such as heavy rain, ice or snow and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC).
