The 2013 Mazda CX-9 took to the stage today at the Australian International Motor Show is inspired by the KODO "Soul of Motion" design language that was introduced on the smaller Mazda CX-5 crossover.
For its second facelift, the 2013 Mazda CX-9 making some minor tweaks to the interior and adding a raft of new safety features such as a lane departure warning system and a high beam control system.
The enhancements inside include different color schemes and retaining the current model's seven-passenger seating capacity. The 2013 Mazda CX-9 SUV has also outfitted it with more luxurious interior amenities for the seats, satin-silver decorative trims, a new infotainment system, a redesigned shift knob, a speech-recognition device and the instrument panel gauges that also get new finishes.
Like the all-new 2014 Mazda6, Mazda’s CX-9 though a 3.7-liter V6 engine that is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission that produce 273hp (203kW) and peak torque of 367Nm.
After debuting in Sydney Auto Show, the 2013 Mazda CX-9 crossover will make its way to the United States in January.
