2013 Dodge Dart Aero


Chrysler Group LLC announced a more fuel-efficient version of the 2013 Dodge Dart Aero today. Production of the new Dodge Dart Aero model started at the Belvidere (Illinois) Assembly Plant in the third quarter of 2012.

"The new Dart Aero builds on these attributes by combining a remarkable 41mpg with interior room of a mid-size car and class-leading technology, style and safety, for only $19,295," said Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Dodge Brand.

Known as the 2013 Dodge Dart Aero, it is powered by Fiat's 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged inline-four combined with several aerodynamic enhancements. The new Dodge Dart Aero has 160-hp and 184 lb-ft of torque while delivering up to 41-mpg US (5.74 l/100 km) on the highway when mated to a 6-speed manual and 40 mpg (5.88 l/100km ) on the highway when mated to a 6-speed dual-dry clutch transmission(DDCT).

The 2013 Dodge Dart Aero has a starting MSRP of $19,295 excluding a $795 destination (*) destination fee. The Dodge Dart Aero trim model comes equipped as standard with 10 airbags; four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes; a lowered profile; cruise control; LED ‘racetrack’ tail lamps; leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls; air conditioning with micron filter; electronic stability control and projector headlamps.
