Nissan TeRRA Concept

Designed with eco-friendliness and all-weather capability in mind, the Nissan TeRRA Concept is electric vehicles was inspired by the lifestyles of youthful customers in Northern Europe, that will be shown on September 27th during the Paris Auto Show.

The Nissan TeRRA is 4160mm long, 1800mm wide and is 1560mm tall. Inside the cabin is a light and airy design theme, a removable tablet serves as the instrument panel. The driver of the TeRRA docks it when entering the vehicle and takes it off when leaving the car.

“Our challenge was to take Nissan's strength in SUVs and crossovers forward into the zero-emissions era, fuel cells being our new frontier in zero emission mobility” said Francois Bancon in a press release, Nissan's general manager of product strategy and planning.

The Nissan TeRRA Concept features three electric motors, one up front is an electric propulsion system and two at the rear. As for the drivetrain, this consists of a pair of electric motors is a flat, highly compact unit that features world-leading power density of 2.5kW/L.

TeRRA is purely a concept car, but it signals that Nissan is ready to mass-produce fuel cell electric vehicles whenever hydrogen becomes widely available.
