2013 Nissan Sentra goes on sale this fall

The 2013 Nissan Sentra seventh generation has been totally redesigned inside-out and continues the new model assault on the North American market such as version 2013 Nissan Pathfinder have been previously published.

Comparison to the previous generation, the 2013 Nissan Sentra a five percent decrease in overall vehicle weighs (about 150 lbs.). On the other hand, length is up 2.3 inches and 0.6-inch longer wheelbase at 106.3 inches.

"Sentra has long been known as one of the roomiest sedans in class and the latest iteration is no exception," said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, of Nissan North America.

The 2013 Nissan Sentra notable highlights include a prominent grille, LED front accent lamps and LED tail lamps are standard across the line, a chrome tail pipe, 17-inch alloy rims, boot lid spoiler and fog lights.

The cabin has been significantly improved with higher quality materials and the 2013 Nissan Sentra gets a bunch of upgrades include Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) system; available Maple wood-tone trim; a six-way manual driver's seat; 6-speaker AM/FM/CD system with 4.3-inch color display; air conditioning with in-cabin microfilter; a dual-zone automatic climate control system; RearView Monitor and Nissan Intelligent Key.

Under the hood, the 2013 Nissan Sentra equipped a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 130 hp (97 kW / 132 PS) and 128 lb-ft (173 Nm) of torque. When combined with a regular Xtronic CVT, the Nissan Sentra rating of 30 mpg city / 39 mpg highway.

When it goes on sale in the States this fall, the 2013 Nissan Sentra is available in a range of models including S, FE+ S, SV, FE+ SV, SR and SL trim levels.
