Audi will showcase a new addition to its redesigned of the much-awaited five-door version of the third-generation A3 Sportback hatchback, ahead of the car's public unveiling next week at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. The 2013 Audi A3 Sportback is scheduled to hit on sale in Europe next February.
The Audi A3 Sportback has wheelbase is 1.3 inches longer, the luggage compartment offers 380 liters (13.42 cu ft) of space and weighing in at just 2,656 pounds. It is fitted with an extra window on the C-pillar, and it is equipped with brushed aluminum roof rails.
European engine options include two TFSI units, a 1.6-liter TDI, a 2.0-liter TDI, a 1.8-liter TFSI and diesel and gasoline units. All of them come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, with an S tronic dual clutch transmission available as an option.
The 2013 Audi A3 Sportback equipped displays of either 5.8 inches or 7 inches; a DVD drive; an Nvidia Tegra 2-series T-20 graphics processor; Bang & Olufsen sound system with 14 speakers and 60 GB of onboard storage.
