The biggest update to the 2013 Land Rover LR2 which benefits from a new engine with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine replacing the previous 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine, makes a healthy 240 hp and 250 pound-feet of torque, with an eye toward improved fuel economy.

Another major update for the 2013 Land Rover LR2 is a revamped interior; the new center stack houses a seven-inch touch screen; standard leather upholstery and dual sunroofs on all trim levels; Terrain Response adjusts to current road conditions; earview camera with hitch assist and a 825-watt Meridian audio setup that is linked to 17 speakers.
The 2013 Land Rover LR2 also come with Intelligent Power System Management (IPSM) which features Smart Regenerative Charging. Land Rover did not offer a fuel-economy estimate but can acceleration from zero to 60 mph in 8.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 124 miles per hour.
The 2013 Land Rover LR2 makes its auto-show debut in Los Angeles in November, the base-model will cost $37,250 (including an $850 destination charge) and the fully loaded Land Rover LR2 HSE LUX at $42,350.
