2013 Toyota RAV4 official revealed

2013 Toyota RAV4

The all-new 2013 Toyota RAV4 SUV official images has surfaced the Internet, after we had the photos tease a couple of weeks ago.

There are no official details so far, but the car is set to rival cars such as the Subaru Forester, Ford Escape and the Honda CR-V.

The photos show the new 2013 Toyota RAV4 that is less boxy and sleeker, sharper aesthetics from Toyota's latest models. From what we can see from these pics everything seems to be pretty loyal with styling cues from the new Toyota Auris.

However, the vehicle's engine range is expected to include a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter that produces 178 hp (133 kW) and a 3.5-liter V6 with an output of 268 hp. These power units will be mated to a new six-speed automatic gearbox to the optionally available AWD system.

Full details will be revealed tomorrow at L.A. Auto Show on Wednesday, November 28.

2013 Toyota RAV4

The 2013 Toyota RAV4 is set to debut in a few days at the L.A. Auto Show, but it appears a few photos of the new crossover have already hit the web.

No doubt that's when we'll have our best look at the new compact crossover, brings the crossover in line with the rest of Toyota's lineup.

The redesigned model has a distinctive headlights; wraparound taillights; sporty front fascia; a sloping roofline; plastic lower insert and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.

Perhaps the most striking revelation, the 2013 Toyota RAV4 is also revamped with optional third-row seat, a new dashboard that incorporates an infotainment system, a three-spoke steering wheel, secondary controls and metallic trim.

The optional V6 engine in the existing RAV-4 could include a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 3.5-liter but the engineers have scrapped the old four-speed automatic transmission for a six-speed unit.

Production starts January 2013 and expect to see the Toyota RAV4 be unveiled on November 28.
