2013 Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R Edition price (UK)
Suzuki has confirmed more details of its limited edition Swift Sport SZ-R, this new special edition has been specially designed for those customers who want to combine a very distinctive look with a fun-to-drive experience.
The 2013 Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R comes dressed in a Cosmic Black exterior paint with a contrasting Ablaze Red coloring for the roof, wing mirrors and the rear spoiler.
Inside, all 100 cars produced will feature uniquely numbered door sills, red accented gear shift knob and red trimmed carpet mats.
The Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R Edition will be powered by a 1.6-liter engine that produces 134 bhp (100 kW) and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) of torque. This will be enough to allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.7 seconds - hit a top speed of 121 mph (195 km/h).
Only 100 units will be built making it a highly exclusive special edition. It will be put on sale at a starting price of £14,249 (about $22,500 at the current exchange rates).

Suzuki Swift X-TRA launched in Germany
Suzuki has launched a special edition Swift X-TRA in the German car market with a bid to draw more attention from the small car buyers.
In May last year Suzuki introduced the X-ITE in Germany and is the best selling car in its segment in India.
For the price of €14,290, the new Swift X-TRA gains a new "Bison Brown Metallic" finish, 16-inch alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, tinted rear glass, seven airbags, USB and air conditioning.
There are no mechanical changes done, the Suzuki Swift X-TRA is powered exclusively by a 1.2-liter petrol engine rated at 94hp (94PS) and has a fuel consumption of 5 liters / 100 km (47 mpg US or 56.5 mpg UK), with CO2 emission of 116g/km.
2013 Suzuki Jimny priced from £11,995
Suzuki has updated its Jimny compact SUV for 2013 with prices remaining unchanged over the previous version.
The 2013 Suzuki Jimny has received a number of exterior, including new design bonnet shape incorporating central air intake, a new front bumper, a revised grille, a new Breeze Blue metallic exterior color and repositioning of the front fog lamps.
Inside, Suzuki has replaced the front and a new seat fabric trim has been adopted for the SZ3 along with added standard ISOFIX child seat mountings to the rear seats.
The engine powering the 2013 Suzuki Jimny is a 16-valve 1.3-litre unit, developing 85 HP (63 kW) and 81 lb-ft (110 lb-ft) of torque. It is very weak, but enables the model to average 39.8 mpg (38.7 mpg with the automatic) and CO2 output of 162g/km and (auto: 167g/km).
The car prices in the UK start at £11,995 for the base SZ3, while an SZ4 model is priced at £12,900 with manual transmission and £13,800 with automatic transmission.

Suzuki Swift Sport unveiled ahead of Sydney Auto Show
Suzuki will show off a tweaked version of it's Swift Sport concept at next week’s (October 19 to 28) Sydney Auto Show (AIMS). Suzuki Swift Sport is a one-off concept designed by the brand's chief engineer Naoyuki Takeuchi.
A more aggressive bodykit is the most obvious change, the model features a front splitter, side skirts, LED daytime running lights, a large rear roof wing, chrome accents, a rear diffuser and five-spoke alloy wheels.
Details under the hood haven't been announced, but the Suzuki Swift Sport has a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 136 HP (100 kW) and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) of torque and carying a $23,990 sticker price.

2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara is called Escudo in Japan
The North American, the 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara will get some of the updates of the domestic market, which is called Escudo in Japan.
On the outside modestly updated, the 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara facelift brings a newly designed front grille; tinted headlights; new alloy wheel styles; a tweaked bumper; the spare tire has been jettisoned from the tailgate and moved the license plate holder.
The changes to the interior of the 2013 Suzuki Escudo are the new materials and colors for the seats and the cabin appears largely untouched.
In Japan, the 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara is powered by a 2.4-liter engine that produces 164 horsepower and 225 Nm (166 lb-ft) of torque. In addition, Japanese customers will also get a special X-Adventure edition of the Escudo that comes in packages features like a sunroof; a chrome front grille; 18-inch wheels; a rear spoiler; stability control and additional standard equipment such as interior with contrasting red stitching, steering wheel and gearshift.
An official announcement about the 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara will be made later this month and the changes will be applied on the models sold in markets outside of Japan.
