Seat Mii Ecofuel ahead of Geneva debut

Seat has announced plans to introduce the Mii Ecofuel with a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder engine converted to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) at the Geneva.

The Mii Ecofuel is equipped with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine, boasts average consumption of just 2.9 kg CNG/100 km.

"Its attractive starting price and exceptionally low consumption and emissions figures make the Mii Ecofuel one of the most interesting and sensible choices available - even for high-mileage drivers," explains James Muir, President of SEAT S.A.

With a full CNG tank (11 kg), the Mii Ecofuel has a range of up to 240 miles. This means that, with a full tank, a total range of up to 380 miles is possible.

The Seat Mii Ecofuel will be priced from €12,050 in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden and the Czech Republic where there is a clear demand for CNG fuelled cars and the infrastructure to support it.

Seat Mii Miinx special gets a pink vinyl wrap

Seat has created a special edition of its with a new special edition version of its Mii city car named "Miinx". “One thing's for sure – the Miinx is a car that always provokes a strong reaction, good or bad,” said Tom Rawlings.

Originally the car was designed to be a one-off show car for a dealership in Cornwall, UK after Sales Manager Tom Rawlings decided that he wanted “something different”.

The car offers an impressive lineup includes a set of 15-inch alloy wheels, dark tinted rear windows, leather steering wheel and gear knob, front fog lights, sports suspension and air conditioning.

The Seat Mii Miinx that's powered by a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine with 75 hp (55 kW). Its price tag of RRP of £11,500 and for each car sold Seat will donate 100 GBP to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.

The 2013 Seat Ibiza Cupra has revealed production version will shown in production form for the first time ahead of its arrival in British showrooms in January.

The changes amounted to the new SEAT nose with Cupra badging, a new bumper, bi-xenon headlights, high gloss black door mirrors, a set of bigger air intakes, a new grill and 17in alloy wheels.

The interior of the 2013 Seat Ibiza Cupra gets a sport set of seats with optional two-color leather upholstery, SEAT Portable System which offers SatNav, Bluetooth audio connectivity and a new sports steering wheel carries the Cupra logo.

Power still comes from the a 1.4-litre turbocharged TSI gasoline engine produces 178bhp (132 kW) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission and which promises a 142mph top speed. That's enough to take the three-door Ibiza from 0-62 mph in 6.9 seconds and an official fuel consumption figure of 47.9mpg (4mpg less than its predecessor).

The ride height has been lowered compared to the standard car, an optional AR Performance braking kit is offered. Seat will offer an AP Performance braking system as an option.

The 2013 Seat Ibiza Cupra goes on sale next week at £18,825.

2013 Seat Toledo prices starting at £12,495

The all-new 2013 Seat Toledo is now available order with prices starting at £12,495. First deliveries of the SEAT Toledo will be made on 1 December for the British market.

The fourth generation of the model offers two petrol engines and one diesel, the engine options include a 1.2-litre TSI and 1.6-litre TDI with Ecomotive Technology. They both feature not only stop/start system, the most frugal version of the 2013 Seat Toledo for average fuel economy of 70.6mpg and has CO2 emissions of 104 g/km.

The 2013 Seat Toledo is offered in three trim levels E, S and finishing with the top of the range SE model. Options include 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel, MP3 CD player with AUX-in, climate control, cooled glovebox, cruise control and all-round electric windows.

Standard safety kit includes ESP, driver and front passenger airbag, front seatbelt reminders, alarm and remote central locking. Features, price and equipment of the 2013 Seat Toledo are mentioned with below image.

2013 Seat Leon unveiled ahead of Paris Auto Show

Later on this week the 2013 Seat Leon will introduce the new generation at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. The family car will be sold in three bodystyles, in a bid to replicate the success of its most popular model.

The 2013 Seat Leon is built on VW Group's flexible MQB platform, provides a weight saving of about 90 kg. You get a decent 4263mm long, 1816mm wide, 1459mm high and weighed 1250kg.

The 2013 Seat Leon will be offered with a choice of five engines, it will get five petrol options and four diesel variants. The turbodiesel options include a 1.6-litre TDI with 89bhp or 104bhp, 250Nm/320Nm with CO2 emissions of just 99g/km. The most powerful gasoline engine to be available at first is going to be the 1.8-liter TSI with 178bhp. Depending on the engine option, will be either a five- or six-speed manual, or a six- or seven-speed dual clutch gearbox.

The 2013 Seat Leon features a new infotainment system that comes with a 5.8-inch HD touch screen; Alcantara and leather trim will be offered; iPod connectivity; six speakers; voice recognition and incorporates a CD/radio.

The Spanish automaker has announced that the new Leon will be produced at Seat's facility in Martorell and 600,000-unit annual capacity. The 2013 Seat Leon will reach the UK in February 2013, the pricing strategy is from ranges from £14,890 to £26,010.
