MINI Paceman John Cooper Works leaked
These are the first photos of the new MINI Paceman John Cooper Works.
The MINI Paceman JCW will feature a range of bespoke styling upgrades, as well as suspension modifications with larger wheels and tires.
Looking more aggressive than the standard variant, the John Cooper Works will share the same 1598cc turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine - that produces 215 hp (160 kW) and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque or 221 lb-ft (300 Nm).
Mated to a 6-spee manual transmission, the car return results 0-62 mph time of 7 seconds and a 140mph top speed.

2013 MINI Countryman Preview
MINI has updated the Countryman for the 2013 model year, including the addition of all-wheel drive, ahead of its two-door MINI Paceman brother.
In the two years since its launch onto the world's car markets, the MINI Countryman has developed into a driving force behind the continuing growth of the brand.
Designed to be more user friendly than previous incarnations, the 2013 MINI Countryman changes include a new centre console layout, and newly-designed rings on the signature central speedometer.
But the most noticeable change is the driver's door now incorporating controls for all of the windows, remodelled door armrests provide even more comfortable support for the arms, new rings around the speedometer and air vents finished in Carbon Black.
The 2013 MINI Countryman will now come standard with a three-seat rear bench while two individual rear seats available as a no-cost option.
European engine options remain as before, the MINI Countryman will be offered with a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine meeting EU6 exhaust emission regulations that produces 121 HP. Opting for the Cooper S model gets you a turbocharged rated at 181 horsepower, while the John Cooper Works is powered by a 215bhp turbocharged petrol engine. A six-speed manual is still the standard gearbox, but a six-speed automatic is an available option.
The revised 2013 MINI Countryman is scheduled to hit European dealers sometime in, which starts from £16,510.

2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP price from $35,950
Mini has announced US pricing details for the John Cooper Works GP and it costs $35,950, (*) including $700 for destination. According to the official information, the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP is now available on order in the United States.
However, it is $5,150 more expensive than the GP variant, and is the most expensive model in the Mini ranger. MINI John Cooper Works GP does bring a 121 lb weight reduction, GP Racing mode for ESP, a fully adjustable coilover suspension and a lower 0.35 drag coefficient.
Power for the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP comes from a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged engine that produces 215 hp (160 kW) and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque. Mated to a 6-spee manual transmission, the car can to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.3 seconds.

2013 MINI Paceman live in Paris
The 2013 MINI Paceman was officially revealed today at the Paris Auto Show. Known as essentially a coupe version of the Countryman crossover, MINI Paceman two-door coupe will be the seventh model for the brand.
Equipped with two doors and a large luggage compartment, the 2013 MINI Paceman can accommodate 300-litres. The car is designed to seat four adults, a 31mm lower roof height and sits 10mn closer to the ground compared to the Countryman.
When it debuts in Europe, the 2013 MINI Paceman offers a choice of four engines: two gasoline and two diesel. Gasoline engine with a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder that produce 112 to 184 hp, that will deliver a 0-62 mph time of 10.6 seconds with the six-speed manual. On the diesel side, a 2.0-liter unit that is rated at 143 horsepower.
The standard equipment of interior includes air conditioning; a leather steering wheel; cruise control; electric power mirrors; auxiliary input; a CD player and rear lights in horizontal arrangement.
After debuting in Paris, the 2013 MINI Paceman will go on sale in Europe on March 16th, 2013 with base price of £18,970 in the United Kingdom.

2013 MINI Paceman officially reveals
Following a leak last week, the 2013 MINI Paceman has fully revealed ahead debut at the Paris. Known as the MINI Paceman, essentially a coupe version of the Countryman crossover.
Design wise, the MINI Paceman looks like a sleeker Countryman with two-doors but it has a 31mm lower roof height and sits 10mn closer to the ground compared to the Countryman. Its smaller dimensions equate to a 44-pound lighter curb weight, which should help boost performance very slightly.
The styling up to the A-pillar is identical to the five-door model, but the 2013 MINI Paceman has a sportier downward-sloping roofline, roof can be specified in body color, rear lights in horizontal arrangement, muscular flared wheel arches, sports seats up front and 16-inch alloys.
When it debuts in Europe, the 2013 MINI Paceman will be offered with a 1.6-liter gasoline mill that delivers either 122 or 184 horsepower, fuel economy of 6.0lt/100km (47.1mpg UK or 39.2mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 140 g/km. Diesel options with a 1.6-litre 110hp (112PS) turbocharged engine and a 0-62mph (100km/h) time of 10.8 seconds.
After debuting at the 2013 Paris Auto Show, the 2013 MINI Paceman will go on sale in Britain on March 15 with price of £18,970 (about $30,700).

2013 MINI Paceman leaked images
These are the first images for the 2013 MINI Paceman of a barely disguised pre-production model, expected debut later this month at the 2012 Paris Auto Show.
The leaked images were taken by Motoringfile from the MINI Space, but MINI hasn't released any technical or pricing information.
The 2013 MINI Paceman is the two-door version of the Countryman as the designers have altered the body from the A-pillars. It has the same wheelbase and platform as the five-door model, dimensions will to a 44 pounds (20 kg) lighter, which should help boost performance very slightly.
After greeting the show-going public Paris Auto Show, the 2013 MINI Paceman will be sold in the German market will be 1,500 Euros (roughly $1,900) higher than its four-door sibling.

2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP revealed
MINI has unveiled a new the 2013 John Cooper Works GP dubbed as the fastest in history, Nürburgring-Nordschleife a very impressive 8 minutes and 23 seconds and about 19 seconds faster than the previous generation.
The 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP will be more than the 214 hp of the previous model. According to the report, power will come from a 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged engine has been tweaked to deliver 230 hp.
Mini hasn’t confirmed anything yet but it has reworked the entire chassis include aerodynamics elements and a newly developed rear diffuser. In addition, the upgrades including an adjustable sports suspension, four-spoke lightweight alloys, bespoke side skirts and roof spoiler, race-spec brakes and tires.
“Underpinning the performance characteristics of the MINI John Cooper Works GP is exclusive powertrain, chassis and aerodynamics technology inspired directly by motor sport,” Mini said in a statement. “Its twin-scroll turbo engine generates outstanding torque, displays remarkable elasticity and demonstrates a healthy appetite for revs. Specially developed, adjustable race suspension channels this superlative output into spectacular yet precisely controllable handling.”
Pricing and specific market availability of the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP will be announced later this year in a limited run of 2,000 cars worldwide.
