Lexus ‘LFA’ 500 Vehicle production ends
The last Lexus LFA has rolled off its production line, ending the 500 unit run of the supercar. The first LFA went into production at the LFA Workshop in December 2010.
The Lexus LFA #500 leaving the company’s Motomachi assembly plant on 14 December, it looks to be a Whitest White Nürburgring edition.
As a reminder, the car comes with a 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine. Acceleration from 0-100km/h sprint under 4.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325km/h.
Future Lexus vehicles will reflect the technological skills gained during the development and the company’s LF-LC sports car concept that is anticipated to get a green light for showrooms in the near future.

Lexus just offered up some early test drives of the 2014 IS in prototype form and officially announced plans to introduce at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit Auto Show.
The 2014 Lexus IS takes styling cues from the LF-CC concept, and is a shortened version of the same platform that underpins the GS.
The Lexus IS will use the same body as the second generation of the model, which was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005.
The car will also have a revised suspension, the multi-link rear suspension, softer spring rates along with IS300h certified at "under 100g/km".
Engine specs are yet to be released, but in the UK, two different engines will be available: a V6 petrol-powered IS250 and a hybridized 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces approximately 240 bhp (179 kW).
In a recent interview, Peter Evans, the Lexus Australia marketing manager hinted that the new generation of the Lexus IS might make its official debut at the 2013 Detroit. Prices are expected to start at £32,000.

Lexus LFA GTE racer teased
Lexus race car driver Akira Iida tweeted a photo yesterday of a Lexus LFA racer on a rolling road. It's a race car that was teased by Lexus factory racing car driver Akira Iida via Twitter.
Rumors are saying that the Lexus LFA GTE racer photographed which Akira Iida will drive in next year's Le Mans series.
That prediction could be boosted by the Japanese company informing the site Lexus Enthusiast "We have no plan to use the LFA for the 2013 Nürburgring 24 Hours race."
Akira Iida didn't reveal any details on the car but the automaker is expected to step forward to face some serious competition.
Lexus LFA turned pink for charity
In order to generate some extra attention for Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October, Lexus LFA supercar a distinctive pink exterior colour has been released.
“Along with donations, auction items and support of the Fainga’a Twins Charity Golf Day, going pink is our way reminding all of Brisbane that October is the month of Breast Cancer Awareness,” said by Andrew Scifleet, Lexus of Brisbane dealer principal.
