2014 Lexus IS F Sport officially revealed
Lexus has officially unveiled the 2014 IS F Sport, while keeping most other details under wraps until its world premiere at the Detroit next week.
What we see is a much more dynamic looking Lexus IS F Sport has an evolutionary design which is heavily influenced by the LF-CC concept.
From the front, the 2014 Lexus IS' spindle grille is unmistakable, along with distinctive LED daytime running lights.
The sporty styling that brings more character to the new IS with inspiration from the LFA supercar with premium materials and high-end amenities. The analog clock between the four air vents running across a centre bar, trims and finishes throughout and operate the climate control system.
On the tech front, the next-generation IS will come standard with subscription-free real-time traffic and weather information and climate control functions.
Lexus are still not revealing drivetrain details, but you can expect three different engines will be available.

2013 Lexus IS teaser image ahead of Detroit debut
Lexus has released a further teaser image of the 2014 Lexus IS, ahead of a full reveal expected later today. Design will be inspired from the handsome LF-CC concept showed last year in Paris Auto Show.
The cloaked image released by Lexus shows a shortened version of the same platform underpinning the GS.
Two models will be offered to British buyers: a V6 2.5-liter engine in the IS250 and the IS300h that produces 200 hp (149 kW) along with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine rated at about 240 hp (179 kW).
Engineers have targeted CO2 emissions under the 100 g/km mark, estimated to return 60.7 mpg (73 mpg UK or 3.8 liters / 100 km).
Lexus ‘LFA’ 500 Vehicle production ends
The last Lexus LFA has rolled off its production line, ending the 500 unit run of the supercar. The first LFA went into production at the LFA Workshop in December 2010.
The Lexus LFA #500 leaving the company’s Motomachi assembly plant on 14 December, it looks to be a Whitest White Nürburgring edition.
As a reminder, the car comes with a 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine. Acceleration from 0-100km/h sprint under 4.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325km/h.
Future Lexus vehicles will reflect the technological skills gained during the development and the company’s LF-LC sports car concept that is anticipated to get a green light for showrooms in the near future.

Lexus just offered up some early test drives of the 2014 IS in prototype form and officially announced plans to introduce at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit Auto Show.
The 2014 Lexus IS takes styling cues from the LF-CC concept, and is a shortened version of the same platform that underpins the GS.
The Lexus IS will use the same body as the second generation of the model, which was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005.
The car will also have a revised suspension, the multi-link rear suspension, softer spring rates along with IS300h certified at "under 100g/km".
Engine specs are yet to be released, but in the UK, two different engines will be available: a V6 petrol-powered IS250 and a hybridized 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces approximately 240 bhp (179 kW).
In a recent interview, Peter Evans, the Lexus Australia marketing manager hinted that the new generation of the Lexus IS might make its official debut at the 2013 Detroit. Prices are expected to start at £32,000.

Lexus LS-based TX-650 by TMG teased
Toyota Motorsport GmbH has released a few teaser photos with the Lexus LS-based TX-650 ahead of the model’s public debut at the 2012 Essen Motor Show.
According to the Japanese based automaker, TMG has confirmed the TX-650 prototype is based on the 2013 Lexus LS.
The car will feature a carbon fiber roof, several carbon fiber aero parts, widened fenders, carbon ceramic brakes and BBS alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The Lexus LS-based TX-650 will be powered by a bespoke twin-turbo V8 5.0-liter engine, which will produce a total output of more than 600 HP (447 kW), will be enough for a top speed of about 200 mph (322 km/h).

Lexus LFA GTE racer teased
Lexus race car driver Akira Iida tweeted a photo yesterday of a Lexus LFA racer on a rolling road. It's a race car that was teased by Lexus factory racing car driver Akira Iida via Twitter.
Rumors are saying that the Lexus LFA GTE racer photographed which Akira Iida will drive in next year's Le Mans series.
That prediction could be boosted by the Japanese company informing the site Lexus Enthusiast "We have no plan to use the LFA for the 2013 Nürburgring 24 Hours race."
Akira Iida didn't reveal any details on the car but the automaker is expected to step forward to face some serious competition.

Lexus has released a new high specification Advance model to the CT 200h line-up in United Kingdom that brings additional equipment. The Lexus CT 200h Advance is available to order now at a price of £24,495, with first deliveries to begin end of the year.

2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport supercharged debuts SEMA
Lexus has released plans to introduce a supercharged GS 350 F Sport at the 2012 SEMA Auto Show and the 2012 edition of the aftermarket fest in Las Vegas.
Looking tastefully restrained, the 2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport features a rear lip spoiler, side skirt set, WALD International body kit with custom 22-inch wheels in Yokohama S.Drive tires size 255/30-20 front and 275/30-20 rear.
Power is provided by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which in naturally aspirated guise, delivers 306 HP and 375Nm of torque. The Lexus GS 350 F Sport will be outfitted with a RSR Super i coilover system, an A'PEXi CG SPL custom supercharger kit and a PTS Joe Z Series True Dual Header-Back exhaust system.

Lexus LF-LC Blue Concept for Sydney Auto Show
The Lexus LF-LC Blue Concept is now unveiling at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show held in Sydney. Created by the Lexus' Calty design studio in Newport Beach, California, new hue is inspired by a naturally occurring semi-precious opal stone of outback Australia.
The interior is a flowing mixture of organic shapes combined the blue exterior shade has given it a slight cosmetic makeover. Here, Auto Reviews found twin 12.3-inch LCD screens that provide information, seat adjustments, advanced technology trimmed in wood, climate controls and leather.
“LF-LC is part concept, part reality: the concept hints at what's to come from Lexus, while the reality has us actively studying how we can engineer and build a vehicle like this in the future,” Cramb said.
An elongated hood, which features an Atkinson cycle combustion engine mated to an advanced high-energy battery pack. Combined, the Lexus LF-LC Blue Concept ggasoline-electric hybrid powertrain develops 500 hp (372kW or 506PS), which is the most of any Lexus hybrid.

Lexus LFA turned pink for charity
In order to generate some extra attention for Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October, Lexus LFA supercar a distinctive pink exterior colour has been released.

Lexus LF-CC concept live in Paris
Lexus LF-CC concept has officially debuted at the 2012 Paris Auto Show yesterday. The styling follows Lexus' L-finesse language and a production run of only 500 units.
Power for the Lexus LF-CC hybird comes from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine direct injection system that produce 200 bhp (149 kW), water-cooled permanent magnet electric motor and have CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km.
In the Lexus LF-CC, the grille mesh is offset by a metallic surround; three-LED projector headlamps; daytime running lights are integrated into the upper bumper and steeply-raked windscreen. The futuristic interior is equipped with leather upholstery, layout of the dashboard borrowing several elements from the Lexus supercar, a digital center stack, alloy pedals and a push-button ignition.
The Lexus LF-CC is 4,660 mm (183.5 inches) long; 1,840 mm (72.4 inches) wide; 1,375 mm (54.1 inches) tall a 2,730 mm (107.5-inch) wheelbase.

As we can see from these official images, the Lexus LF-CC hybrid concept comes with the styling follows Lexus L-finesse language. The grille mesh is encased in a deep, projecting the front fender tips, 3 LED projectors and daytime running lights.
